Jeff Gordon and Dale Earnhardt Jr. added to star-studded guest lineup in the Monster Mile Club at Dover on May 16

DOVER, Del. – NASCAR superstars Jeff Gordon and Dale Earnhardt Jr. will appear in the Monster Mile Club on Sunday, May 16, 2010 at Dover International Speedway, joining Richard Petty and Denny Hamlin as guests of question-and-answer sessions in the club.

The Monster Mile Club, an all-inclusive hospitality option, is available for $ 99 and can be added on to any May 16 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race ticket.

Fans are encouraged to call the Dover ticket office at 1-800-441-RACE, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., or click here to reserve their Monster Mile Club tickets. Limited quantities remain and the Monster Mile Club is expected to sellout. The deadline to purchase club tickets is April 30.

Gordon, driver of the No. 24 DuPont Chevrolet, and Earnhardt, driver of the No. 88 AMP Energy/National Guard Chevrolet, are Hendrick Motorsports teammates and two of the most popular drivers in the sport. Gordon, a four-time winner at the Monster Mile, is also a four-time NASCAR Sprint Cup Series champion, and currently ranks fifth in the series point standings.

Earnhardt, voted by the fans as the Most Popular Driver for the seventh consecutive season in 2009, won Dover’s September 2001 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race, arguably the most memorable race in the track’s 42-year history, just days after the terrorist attacks on Sept. 11. Earnhardt is currently 10th in the series point standings.

The Monster Mile Club opens at 8 a.m. on Sunday, May 16 with a continental breakfast. Trackside tours begin at 8:30 a.m. and question-and-answer sessions with Gordon, Earnhardt, Petty and Hamlin will follow throughout the morning. An all-you-can-eat lunch with beverages will be served at 11 a.m. prior to the start of the “Autism Speaks 400 presented by HERSHEY®’S Milk & Milkshakes” NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race at 1 p.m. Monster Mile Club ticket holders will also receive a souvenir gift and a race program.

NASCAR returns to the Monster Mile on May 14-16, 2010. For more information, or to purchase tickets, call 1-800-441-RACE or click here.
