New-for-2010: Text message your concerns on race weekend

Dover International Speedway will be implementing a helpful new service for fans on race weekend – text messaging.

We all know how difficult it can sometimes be to communicate when the roar of 43 stock cars rumble down the front stretch … Text messaging will make it easier to be able to communicate any emergencies that require our attention during the event weekend.

By sending a text message to a dedicated number, you’ll be able to let us know that you need help. Standard text messaging rates apply.

Text messaging offers guests a discreet and instant way to alert venue personnel when problems arise at Dover International Speedway.

Some concerns that can now be shared by text message:

• Unruly fan behavior
• Seating discrepancies
• Spills
• Maintenance issues
• Medical emergences

Texting instructions will be placed prominently around the facility and in the grandstands on signs and will also be broadcast over the public address system.
